Where did I leave off….
I shared all the yummy goodies from the party so it’s time to share all the other details that made this party awesome. First, I have to say my family really pulled together and crafted everything perfectly. I loved watching all of our hard work pay off and seeing all the details come together.
My sister set the tone with these invitations she designed. It was clean and simple yet still playful with the use of the YGG images. (This is a scanned image so excuse the quality of the photo and poor muno’s chopped off head. I also cropped it to remove the address). I took my nephews picture off this invitation and used it to print edible images for the sugar cookies as seen in my previous post.
I made yummy chocolate caramel popcorn as party favors and made the popcorn boxes using my cricut expression. The tags were embellished with stickers purchased from here.
I think there may have been a tissue paper shortage this past February because my sister ordered every color imaginable and used them to make poms. This was my favorite part of the party. The colors really popped and brightened up the space. In addition to being hung up, my sister used them as centerpieces for the guests tables. Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of it.
The highlight of the party were the guest appearances by Milo’s favorite characters, DJ Lance and Plex.
At one point, DJ Lance had all the guests close their eyes and out came Plex. Ok I lied, this was my favorite part of the party. I have to give it up to my brother. He was the brains and master crafter of this costume. It even included speakers so he can come out to his own music. He was pretty nervous about his performance but I don’t think he had anything to be nervous about. He was an awesome Plex and everyone was lining up to take pictures with him.
